Political comedy has always had a way of cutting through the noise.
Sometimes humor says what pundits and politicians won’t. Sometimes it simply reminds us that the whole system can be a little ridiculous.
Right now, America could use more of that.
So we’re building something.
American Muckrakers Presents: MUCK YOU!! LIVE — a national political comedy tour launching in Fall 2026 that blends stand-up comedy, political satire, and civic engagement.
The idea is simple: bring comedians, celebrity MCs, and surprise guests together for a live show that people actually want to attend. Then capture the best moments and distribute them across social media and digital platforms so the impact goes far beyond the theater. The funds will be used for American Muckrakers and taking down terrible politicians like Lauren Boebert, Mike Whatley, Ken Paxton & others.
Each show will combine:
stand-up comedy
political satire
celebrity hosts and guest performers
appearances from key candidates who need our help to win
Not speeches. Conversations. Humor. Real moments that connect politics back to people.
The initial tour is planned for cities including:
Houston
Minneapolis
Chicago
Austin
Washington, DC
New York City
Denver
Seattle
Los Angeles
Phoenix
Across 10 cities we expect roughly:
100,000+ live attendees
1,000,000+ online viewers
50,000,000+ digital impressions
Every show will be filmed and distributed across Substack, X, YouTube, podcasts, and political media networks.
We’ve Started Reaching Out
We’ve begun inviting artists and performers who have supported pro-democracy efforts in the past.
Invitations have already gone out to people like Jeff Daniels, Elayne Boosler, Rosanne Cash, Joan Jett, Peter Gallagher, and others who have used their voices to stand up for democracy.
If this works the way we think it can, MUCK YOU!! LIVE becomes more than a comedy tour. It becomes a stage where humor, music, storytelling, and civic engagement all come together.
Let’s Crowd-Fund the Launch
To get this project moving, we need to raise $25,000 in seed funding to cover the initial startup costs, including booking venues, confirming talent, building the show format, and preparing the digital distribution strategy.
So we’re asking the American Muckrakers community to help us get this off the ground.
If this sounds like something you’d want to see in your city, please consider contributing whatever you can. Contribution levels:
$100 will get 1 ticket to the show of your choice
$250 or more you’ll get 2 front row seats to the show of your choice
$750 2 front row seats and 2 invites to the VIP after-party
$1500 you’ll 4 seats up front and 4 tickets to the after party and a founding partner credit from the stage and in all streamed versions of the show.
We also have larger sponsor packages, just let me know if you’re interested.
