At American Muckrakers, we follow the money. That’s how we hold politicians accountable: by digging into the records they hope no one will check.
Our latest amended complaint filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) shows Representative Lauren Boebert’s campaign spent over $12,000 at the Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa in Palm Beach, Florida. The problem? On at least two of those dates, Boebert wasn’t even in Florida. She was posting photos and videos from Washington, D.C., and Alamosa, Colorado.
That’s not sloppy bookkeeping. That’s fraud.
We’ve filed an amended complaint with the FEC, attaching travel records, social media posts, and official filings that don’t line up. It’s another example of how Boebert and her campaign treat the law like it’s optional. And if they’re this careless with campaign money, what else are they hiding?
Why This Matters
This isn’t just about Lauren Boebert. It’s about the integrity of our democracy. Candidates must follow the law, report expenses accurately, and respect the people who fund them. When they don’t, it’s our job to make sure the truth comes out.
And that’s what American Muckrakers does—shine light where politicians want darkness.
A Personal Note
I know we’ve asked for your support again and again. Our small operation runs on fumes, and the truth is, donations have fallen off a cliff while the work has only grown.
I apologize if the repeated requests feel like too much. But without your help, we can’t keep doing this work—digging through records, filing complaints, and holding corrupt politicians accountable.
