David Wheeler is Going to Prison and Lauren Boebert is a Moron
By David B. Wheeler, Co-Founder, American Muckrakers & Co-Host of MUCK YOU!
At American Muckrakers, our mission is to unearth truths that the powerful would rather keep buried. We’re diving into one of the most disturbing scandals of our time, the Jeffrey Epstein affair, and its troubling connections to Donald J. Trump. We’re also seeking to confront Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted accomplice, at her prison in Florida. This investigation is about accountability, transparency, and justice for victims whose voices have been silenced. Alongside this, I’m writing a book exposing the contradictions and controversies of Lauren Boebert, a figure whose rise demands scrutiny. Both projects are part of our relentless pursuit of truth, and we need your support to make them happen.
The Epstein-Trump connection raises questions that can’t be ignored. Flight logs confirm Trump traveled on Epstein’s private plane multiple times in the 1990s. Epstein’s address book listed Trump’s name with multiple phone numbers and Mar-a-Lago’s address, pointing to a relationship beyond casual acquaintance. In a 2002 New York Magazine interview, Trump called Epstein a “terrific guy” who preferred younger women, a statement that now carries chilling weight. The DOJ and FBI’s July 2025 memo, claiming no incriminating “client list,” no blackmail evidence, and Epstein’s definitive suicide, only fuels suspicion. Ghislaine Maxwell, serving 20 years for trafficking girls to powerful men, holds potential answers. If there’s no client list, who were those girls trafficked to? Why are key documents still sealed under the Trump administration? The victims deserve clarity, and the public deserves the truth.
That’s why we’re intensifying our investigation. We aim to visit Maxwell at FCI Tallahassee to ask hard questions: What leverage did Epstein hold over figures like Trump? Who else was in their network? Why the resistance to releasing Epstein’s files? These answers could expose a web of influence that’s been hidden too long.
Simultaneously, my book on Lauren Boebert will unpack her journey from small-town provocateur to national figure, dissecting the hypocrisy, policy failures, and controversies that define her career. From her questionable financial dealings to her inflammatory rhetoric, the book aims to reveal the real Boebert behind the headlines, a story that resonates with our broader mission to hold power to account.
These projects come with significant costs. We need funds for travel to Florida, a professional video crew to document the Epstein investigation, and research expenses for court documents and FOIA requests. The Boebert book requires archival research, interviews, and time to craft a narrative that cuts through the noise. Your support, through a donation to American Muckrakers or a subscription to our Substack, will fuel both efforts. Every dollar, whether $5 or $50, covers plane tickets, accommodations, research materials, or a coffee to keep us sharp. Subscribers get exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes insights, and first looks at findings from both the Epstein investigation and the Boebert book on MUCK YOU!.
The Epstein case and Boebert’s rise are tests of whether accountability still matters. With your help, we’ll dig deeper, ask tougher questions, and expose what the powerful want hidden. Join us by donating here:
