As a Yankee now living in Charlotte for the past 10yrs, NC politics has been quite an eye opener. From ballot harvesting (I received a mailed, unsolicited absentee ballot in the NC election that had to be redone a few years ago) to the present, I’ve watched in shock at some of the “characters” who’ve been elected to public office in the 11th district. And I’m even more shocked that the people in NC 11 continue to support Republican candidates when the Republicans left them helpless after the devastating hurricane damage and floods. I’ve become aware of and impressed with Moe Davis, and I wish he’d snagged the Democratic nomination to run for Chuck Edwards seat. I don’t know enough about Jamie Ager to have a strong opinion, but I know he’s the “establishment candidate.” I hope he can fall in line with the progressive wing of the Democratic party and truly represent the New Democrats - I call us FDR Dems. Get Ager elected and if he can’t/won’t help deliver a government “of, by and for the people” Moe Davis is waiting in the wings.
