House Ethics documents show Edwards offered to skip votes, cancelled a town hall for a date, and hid a Vegas trip from his own staff.
While Western North Carolina dug out from Hurricane Helene, our congressman was booking rooms at the Bellagio, cancelling constituent town halls for dinner dates, and offering, in writing, to skip votes in the House of Representatives so he could mow a young staffer’s lawn and decorate her Christmas tree.
That is not a characterization. That is what the documents say.
